Hi,

I recorded some videos on my camcorder in PAL widescreen (16:9, 720×576). The pixels are non-square (anamorphic), so to display correctly the image needs to be stretched to a 16:9 aspect ratio.

I've searched the JMF documentation, and can't find any reference to aspect ratio. It seems to assume the pixels are always square. Is there any way to pass this information from ffmpeg through to Java. I can easily resize the display area if I can get this information somehow. Is this possible?
