With fobs 0.4 I was able to build, I try the same with fobs041, but the ./configure step of ffmpeg fails.

No compatible shell script interpreter found.
This configure script requires a POSIX compatible shell such as bash or ksh.
This bash version (2.04.0(1)-release) is broken on your platform.
Upgrade to a later version if available.

I have tried on another PC with the latest msys from mingw.org, and run into the same issue ?

Can anyone help me out ??

  I have found the issue, has to update the bash. FFMPEG builds fien now (default no extra libs).
  
  Now I end up at an issues I think I also had one year ago :
  
  g++ -g -Iffmpeg -Iffmpeg\libavcodec -Iffmpeg\libavformat -Iffmpeg\libavutil -c -o src\cppapi\PacketBuffer.o src\cppapi\PacketBuffer.cpp
  
  This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
  Please contact the application's support team for more information.
  scons: *** [src\cppapi\PacketBuffer.o] Error 3
  
  and for sure I don't remember how to solve this one, continuing my search, all help is welcome ...

need help, i hava an error

Checking for C header file libavformat/avi.h… no
libavformat/avi.h was not found. Copy it from your ffmpeg sources package

but file is already exist
