I am using FOBS 0.4.0. when I tried to access a video file using rtsp its throwing error as Failed to realise : server not responding, but the same file runs without problems from the local harddrive. Is there anything am missing? Currently I'm running FOBS on XP.

JMF implementation of RTSP protocol is kind of incomplete. You won't be able to play videos using this protocol, I'm afraid. Anyway, Fobs support is limited to the local filesystem at the moment. So even if you get a JMF supported RTSP stream, it will be played usinig JMF codecs, and not Fobs.
I have some code to see mpeg-4 video over RTP pending to include in the CVS tree. It was submitted by Scott Hays. I expect to include it this week, but you'll have build your own Fobs version from the CVS code till I release the next Fobs version (0.4.1).

I just would like to know if it has been done and if not, could you please put somewhere the source code in order to archive to goal to play RTP / MPEG4 video with JMF and FOBS ?
