FOB-JMF stops playing a video after approx. 2 seconds.
When I start it on Windows it works.
But on Fedora Core 2 (Kernel: 2.6.5) (jdk1.5.0 beta 2, ffmpeg 0.49-pre1) the video playback stops after 2 seconds. the problem occurs on 2 pc's with different hardware.
can anyone help me plz.

Have you tried any other video in Linux? does it happen with all of them? Maybe there's a native issue related to the decoding of this specific video.
It would be good to know if the problem exists with the binary version of Fobs4Jmf-0.2. I've played lots of videos using Fobs-0.2 in Mandrake 9.2 with no problem at all.
Try to test the behaviour a little bit more so we can help you.
Thanks for using fobs.

thanks a lot for your tests... I will update the page with this issue you have found! I will, however, perform some other tests to see if the problem is in the JNI (maybe there's a new native interface specification for j2se_1.5) or the JMF itself.
Please, keep me informed of any other issues you find in Fobs.
Thanks for your coopearation again!

hi!
yes i tried it with different videos and it was al the same issue.
but i downgraded to java 1.4.2 and now the video playback works fine.
so it seems to me like there is some problem with the jdk 1.5.0 beta 2.
