problem playing m4a (aac) with chapters

Hi, I have a problem playing m4a(aac) files with chapters generated by garageband. The player only reproduce the last chapter sound and the images ramdomly(including the artwork or cover). If the file is just sound, plays fine but with chapters crash. I hope some one can help me to solve this problem. Thanks
