    Jose San Pedro - 2008-09-17

    Hi all,

Sourceforge has started offering phpBB based Forums. I've already set up forums using this new system which are accessible at:

    http://apps.sourceforge.net/phpbb/fobs

Please, post all your new messages there!! I think it offers a much more complete functionality. I'll try to see if it's possible to move all the discussions of this forum there, but I doubt it :(

    Cheers,

    Jose San Pedro

      I almost forgot...

Remember to log in the forum using your Sourceforge username, as guest access is read-only!

Report any problems with the new forum to this thread.

      Cheers,

      Jose San Pedro

I am trying to post a message in the new forum but I'm getting an HTTP 400 Page Not Found error.

I forgot to add:  the error is happening when I click Save or Submit to post the message.

        Hi,

did you sign in the forum? You need to sign in using your SF login name. This app is actually managed by SF (not me) so if you're having problems posting I should immediately notify them.

        Cheers,

        Jose

That's bizarre. Some people are already using the forum without any problem. Please try accessing it from the main project page

      http://sourceforge.net/projects/fobs/

By clicking on "Hosted Apps"->phpbb in the menu bar at the top of the page.

The direct link to the forum is still:

      http://apps.sourceforge.net/phpbb/fobs/

      Cheers,

      Jose San Pedro
