Trouble installing FOA

I have trouble installing FOA. It probably is a stupid CLASSPATH problem. The error message says:

    arolla% ./
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/w3c/dom/Node
            at foa.attributes.AttributeManager.<init>(
            at foa.attributes.AttributeDirector.<init>(
            at foa.apps.MainMenuBar.buildDirectors(
            at foa.apps.MainMenuBar.<init>(
            at foa.apps.Foa.<init>(
            at foa.apps.Foa.main(

I am wondering if the problem does not come for JAXP.
FOA doc talks about including jaxp1.1 jar files into classpath, but Sun Microsystems only delivers jaxp1.2 anymore.
    Is FOA compatible with jaxp1.2?

    Many thanks for you help,

Just wondering:  Are you using java version 1.4 or 1.3 ( use java -version to check it).

I presume you either set the classpath just prior to launching the Foa application, or else you use the -cp option in the command line, right?  Can you tell me exactly what you are specifying?
