#1 Display size settings not working

I'm running FNServer fn-0.5.4.2-beta on a Windows XP
box with Apache 1.3.33 and PHP 4.3.10. Neither setting
the thumbnail display size in FNServer's config.php nor
setting the picture display size in fotonoter.php seems
to make any difference; both thumbnails and larger
images display at their original sizes. I shouldn't be
manually resizing the images, should I?

Addendum: Okay, I've noticed that after changing the
thumbnail setting, NEW uploads have thumbnails that reflect
the value I specified. It would be nice if the change was
recursive.
