#29 Error writing settings file

I just moved my Palm environment from one computer to
another. Everything worked except for FMSync (2.1d7); I am
getting an error "An Error occurred while trying to write to
settings file". "~/Documents/Palm/Users/<username>/
Conduit Settings/FMSync for Jfile X Settings" is as well as
the Settings folder itself are read/write by everyone.
