Cleanup: Remove unused variables from FILETEST.OPENAPPEND.UTF8.

Fix DRIBBLE to encode output in UTF-8.
Prior to this, it was using UTF-16 without a BOM.

Move "-Winvalid-pch" to platform independent part of Makefile.
This prints PCH problems on Windows, in addition to on GNU/Linux.

Update the UI Automation library to use the Unicode win32 API.
This enables the tests to write non-ASCII characters to text controls.

Merge changes from trunk (a simple test logging fix)

Refactoring: Add write_unicode_string()
This helper funciton prints a Unicode string, character by character.
This was done to remove code duplication.

Add a test to confirm that OPENAPPEND honors the BOM in the file.

Add test coverage for writing a binary file.
This is mostly a test that the high-byte of a character is ignored.

Test when READCHARs processes a Unicode file.
