Rework the READLIST DRIBBLE test to remove false-positive failures that occurred during the full test pass.
For unknown reasons, during the past two test passes, the UI automatation for the DRIBBLE READLIST test failed to execute correctly. After making this change, it executed correctly.

Add more documentation to BACKSLASHEDP.
This is mostly to explain that it has nothing to do with backslashes, but also because the documentation was going to be updated for the Unicode support and it'll be easier to build on this documentation than to start from nothing.

Fix build break when not using precompiled headers.

Fix a problem with the way the localizedstrings-XX.h files were build.
They had escaped non-ASCII characters with \x####, but if a hex character followed such a character, then it was interpreted as part of the code point, resulting in garbled text.
Now non-ASCII characteers are escaped with \u####, which is defined to have four hexadecimal digits. This is newer than \x, but has existed since C++ 11, so it shouldn't cause problems.

Generate ASCII C++ header files from the UTF-8 text translations.

Convert each of the localized header files into UTF-8.
This is the first step for integrating non-English languages into the Unicode build.

Document the breaking change to BACKSLASHEDP

Merge in changes from trunk (mostly to resolve conflicts)

Update the documentation for CHAR, ASCII, and RAWASCII for Unicode support.

Set up the release notes for v7.7.0, in case a bug fix is needed before v8.0.0 is ready.
