I installed FMSLogo 7.3.0 Windows 1034
While testing it with LogoFE, I got this error message (screenshot attached)
the line shouldn't break after "por lo tanto"
and because área is female it should say
el área de trabajo será guardada
Don't get confused, even though it says el área, área is female
Just like el agua, is female.
Thanks for taking the time to report this. I have committed [r4685] as a fix. It will be included in FMSLogo 7.4.0.
Since you took the time to report it, I took the time to track down its history. I added this message on 2012-01-08 as part of [r3075]. This showing this message was a new feature to try to prevent confusion about zero-sized workspaces. I didn't want to trifle you to translate one message, nor did I want the Spanish version of FMSLogo to show English, so I used Google Translate to auto-generate one.
Then on 2016-06-27, I commited [r4134] to make the machine-generated message better match the messages that you wrote. I don't know what prompted this, but it was before I started work on the Spanish manual. Specifically, the warning message called the workspace the "espacio de trabajo" whereas you called it the "área de trabajo" everwhere else, so it would be weird if this one place called it something different. Similiarly, your messages address the user in the "tu" form, whereas the Google Translate used the "usted" form. Also weird that FMSLogo would take a formal tone for this one message. At that time, I might not have know that área is feminine, but it's also possible that I simply used bad grammar.
As for the line break, I had intentionally added that. On my machine (Windows XP, classic theme), a message box doesn't wrap automatically, so I put in line breaks to keep the message box narrow (see attached screenshots). In your screenshots, it looks like Windows is doing word-wrapping in message boxes now, so the explicit line breaks just look weird for you. I haven't kept up with Windows, but based on the warning icon in your screenshot, I'd guess you're using Windows 10. If a moden Windows does line wrapping then I agree that the explicit line breaks should be removed. This probably affects the English version too, but until someone takes the time to notify me, I won't know, as my latest Windows machine still runs XP.
