The 3dmovie.lgo example creates an animated GIF of a flowerbox folding. However, in FMSLogo 6.16.1, it produces a black GIF.
This bug was reported to me by Michael Malin. It was originally reported in the Google Groups here:
How Reproducible:
Every Time
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open "Examples/3d/3dmovie.lgo"
2) After it finishes, open Examples/3d/3dmovie.gif with a GIF viewer.
What Happen:
The image is all black.
Expected Result:
The image is an animated GIF of a box closing.

The problem extends beyond 3dmovie.lgo. Saving any image when the active area is not full-sized produces an all-black picture. I am increasing the priority of this because it's such a common use-case.

I have submitted a fix for this. It will be available in FMSLogo 6.17.0.
