Welcome

FmPython is an extension (plug-in) adding Python scripting into Adobe FrameMaker. The first releases appeared in summer 2002. The product was released free of charge, but its sources were not discovered to public. The project has very low priority for me at this (quite long) period, so it was practically frozen. But I still think the ideas behind it are not so bad. It is going open source now in the hope to revive the project and to deliver up to date results for potential users.

The project needs some help. First of all I don't have FrameMaker version newer than 6 and there is almost no hope I will ever buy something new from this side. It is no problem to compile the plug-in for newer releases of FrameMaker, but I'm out of possibility to test it. So co-developers and testers are wanted.

Step planned for the near future:

Writing of development environment description and upload of source files and parts of development environment to SourceForge project space.
