In my file-naming, I prefer to name the files
differently before and after pre-processing.
E.g. source_files "*.ftl" and output_files "*.html"
With the combination of ant-contrib's foreach-macro and
fmpp's single file mode, this is possible.
But it is quite inefficient.
Is there a way to have the fmpp task directly behave
like that, i.e. similar to ant's apply task
(http://ant.apache.org/manual/CoreTasks/apply.html)?

    Yes, a setting to transform file-names in a more felxible way would be
    good; I have added this to the TODO.

    However, personally I perfer
    either:

    foo.html.ftl -> foo.html

    or

    foo.html -> foo.ftl

    Now FMPP has "replace extension" setting.
