Moving the mouse pointer over the window border and then into the window leaves the cursor set as the resize/move pointer after the pointer enters the window client region (when the window region doesn't explicitly set its own pointer). This can be seen in lots of applications. Myself, I most often notice it in rox-filer.
- run rox-filer
- move the pointer onto the window border (see pointer change to resize arrows)
- move the pointer into the rox-filer window and see the resize pointer persist
(To get a normal pointer, move rapidly from the root window to the client area without pausing on the window border.)
Of the several bugs I've noticed but not fixed, this one is the most significant to me. I plan to fix it myself, but I'm not sure when I'll get to it. I thought I'd post it just for tracking purposes and in case somebody knows right off what might be causing it / how to resolve it.
