hello,
I just upgraded my system to fc6 (fresh install) and I can not get the
pseudo transparency in menu and decoration elements.
reading the fluxbox wiki (http://fluxbox-wiki.org/) it seems to be that
having installed feh, esetroot or wmsetbg should be enough to be able to
change the "alpha" parameter. I got feh version 1.3.4 installed, and
fbsetbg says:
[~]$ fbsetbg -i
feh is a nice wallpapersetter. You won't have any problems.
[~]
but the transparency is not working. I'm using my old fluxbox init file
and alpha parameter is set from 0 to 160 for various decoration
elements, but none of those is transparent.
I didn't try the other two applications because I am sure that feh use
to work for me before the upgrade.
Am I missing something?
just for case, here is fluxbox -info
