#304 Start menu button on toolbar

David Pan

The Fluxbox toolbar needs a Windows-like "start menu" button that shows the root menu when clicked. This button would be useful when the desktop is covered by windows.

One could add "Mod4 Mouse3 :RootMenu" or "OnToolbar Mouse2 :RootMenu" to the keys file, but some people don't want to use the keyboard or don't have a middle mouse button.

The Fluxbox Tray Menu <https://sourceforge.net/projects/ftmenu/> is insufficient because it has to be in the system tray and it doesn't match the current theme.

There are many solutions to this problem. You seem to have found several yourself. Another is to set your toolbar width to 99% and use the corner of the screen. Another is that you actually can make a "RootMenu" button in your toolbar, although it will look like an arrow button.

Thank you so much. I set the toolbar to 99% and placement to bottom right, and modified the wallpaper to get this http://i.imgur.com/5nuev.png
