Old blackbox (using bbkeys) and also openbox show some "window" when alt-tabbing, which contains names and/or icons of windows ... so you press alt-tab once and if you see the desired window to be third in the list, you press tab three more times while still holding alt and you end up on the window. I think something like the current ClientMenu, though I have not figured how to use that menu for alt-tabbing (at least you can use arrows and enter :)
The current way (when alt-tab is pressed, it is just directly switched to next window) have disadvantage that you have to search which window activated if you have desktop cluttered with many small windows.
And my old hack (run old bbkeys so they'll provide alt-tabbing) isn't very reliable, many bbkeys/fluxbox version combinations end up with bbkeys segfaulting ...
I think adding some "alt-tabbing window" to fluxbox would be nice. Maybe borrow the code form other -box WMs?
