#1089 Apps File

It isn't listed as an option, but the amd64 OpenBSD 5.2 ports system includes Fluxbox version 1.3.2, which is the one I am using. In this version of Fluxbox, the apps file seems to be ignored after the first empty line. Is this the case? And if so, has it been changed in a later release?
For example, if I have an apps file containing (excluding the comments):
/ BEGIN FILE /
[group]
[app] (Links)
[end]

[group]
[app] (xterm)
[end]
/ END FILE /
the second group is ignored.

    fluxbox-1.3.2
    Gentoo Linux, kernel 3.7.9

No bug. When fluxbox restarting, empty lines disappear.

On my system, formatting (including whitespace) remains. However, my problem has been resolved by simply removing them manually. Closed?

    Not reproducible on 1.3.6

The file is canonicalized but even setting it "chattr +i" with blank lines, it's read entirely (most likely because it's canonicalized on read) - while the formatting (of course) remains (for its immutable)
