FLUX-TUI is a fully offline, terminal-native encrypted vault built for professional security. It protects your files with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption, a scrypt-hardened master key, and a SHA-256 tamper-evident audit chain — with zero telemetry, zero network calls, and no subscription.
Features
- AES-256-GCM with 96-bit random IV per file and 128-bit auth tag — tamper detection on every decrypt
- scrypt N=2¹⁷ key derivation — brute force is computationally infeasible
- Startup integrity scan cryptographically verifies every vault file at launch
- Tamper-evident audit chain: every encrypt, decrypt, and import is SHA-256 chained — deletion or modification of any log entry is instantly detectable
- Startup passcode (4–6 digits) with auto-lock on idle and lockout after 3 wrong attempts
- Encrypt and decrypt any file type — text, PDF, images, archives
- Full-text content search: search /query decrypts and scans all files, returning line numbers and highlighted snippets
- In-terminal editor with syntax-aware display, word wrap, find, undo, and rename
- Batch encrypt entire folders in one command
