#4 Cant start fluidsynth after socket connection fails

Sometimes when restaring fluidsynth, the socket
connection fails and FluidGUI assumes that fluidsynth
is not running (but it is). The GUI gets stuck
displaying the "Start FluidSynth" button and until
FluidGUI is shut down and restarted, attempts to
"start" fluidsynth fail. Need to distinguish between
socket connection failure and failure of fluidsynth to
startup.
