How to upgrade the system:

To upgrade the base system from Old Stable to Stable, follow the steps below.

Example (from Debian 12 Bookworm to Debian 13 Trixie)

1. Edit /etc/apt/sources.list to replace bookworm with trixie. (See https://wiki.debian.org/SourcesList for more information.)
2. sudo apt update
3. apt full-upgrade

NOTE: It is important to back up your data in /home/user/ into an external device such as USB stick in case of failure of upgrading.
