If this kind of thing is really the problem, I don't think I have the time now to be spending on reorganising loops for a specific processor, *especially* one that is probably going to disappear in less than a few years. These are mostly the kinds of things a compiler should be able to work out itself, if it knows the processor well enough. The code is running much better on every other chip. david |
