#1 Does not run at all

Using RH 8.0.

Problem is, when I try to start flink I get:

(flink:10688): GConf-CRITICAL **: file gconf-client.c:
line 545 (gconf_client_add_dir): assertion
`gconf_valid_key (dirname, NULL)' failed

gives an answer why this bug occurs.

My only trouble is, if that is correct, why does it
work at all for the developer?
