I miss a source for such data we can use for scenery creation under GPL terms. As I added some notes recently in FlightGear Corine Scenery Wiki etc., interpolated "SRTM" 4.1 from CGIAR is not compatible with official scenery licence, other resources are not complete and for mountain and uncovered areas only (i.e. viewfinderpanorama). For the first step, the "cleaned" SRTM 3 data I’m going to upload will have filled no-data-gaps with simple gdal interpolation. This might look to simplified, but the result is not that bad for a first step ;-) Here you can see an example: http://downloads.fgx.ch/screens/fill-no-data.png Unless someone points me to another source to get such "cleaned" data compatible with official FlightGear scenery licence I will not stop the scripts ...
