Yes. Festival seems to be set up restrictive on some systems (or by default?). One has to set the permissions in /etc/festival.scm (if it looks there) or in /usr/share/festival/siteinit.scm or /usr/share/festival/init.scm: http://www.cstr.ed.ac.uk/projects/festival/manual/festival_28.html#SEC130 See server_deny_list and server_access_list. I have first to find out where to place that ideally. It doesn't seem to accept a config file in the home dir. I'll add a paragraph about it in the README if I know more. m. |
