Hi All; How hard would it be to make a wrapper layer that would allow us to use xplane input drivers? Pat -- ----------------------------------------------------- If you can’t be a good example, then you’ll just have to be a horrible warning. -Catherine |

AFAIK X-Plane doesn't require custom drivers for flight controls. Their plugin layer seems like it might be something we could make a wrapper and make use of. I am looking for a solution to the Saitek panels not working in FG, but also looking at a generic method of getting added features that other sims have. pat On Thu, Nov 28, 2013 at 11:36 PM, geneb <ge...@de...> wrote: > On Thu, 28 Nov 2013, not a webot wrote: > > > Their plugin layer seems like it might be something we could make a > wrapper > > and make use of. > > Pat > > That's not the answer to the question I asked. > > g. > > -- > Proud owner of F-15C 80-0007 > http://www.f15sim.com - The only one of its kind. > http://www.diy-cockpits.org/coll - Go Collimated or Go Home. > Some people collect things for a hobby. It was a very kind thing for them to do, as it allowed me to write some config for a new user who had bought their kit but wasn't at that point familiar with our config model. I think they also had some discussions with (IIRC) James an Durk at FSWeekend a couple of years back, wrt to their more complex hardware. Don't know the current status. -Stuart |
