Translate add-on metadata into French

In a few cases, also fix formatting of the English strings: add missing
period at the end of the short description, remove undesirable hard
newlines from the long description, etc.

AJ MacLeod: The audible variometer was broken years ago by someone improving the glider-related instruments in FG and this is the main item fixed here - I've also converted the important speeds for the help to km/hr which makes more sense than knots as the ASI is marked in km/hr.
