No error should be shown, but the following is:

Nasal runtime error: nil used in numeric context
  at D:/FlightGear/data/Nasal/startup.nas, line 12
  called from: D:/FlightGear/data/Nasal/startup.nas, line 29

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Today's CVS data/ with a win32 binary from 6 february.

Please provide any additional information below.
Looks like /environment/metar/base-wind-speed-kt is set after nasal-dir is
initialized.
