FWIW a segfault at exit seems to come and go, backtrace attached
2020-3 fetched, rebases and built 15May2021 Fe33 GTX750Ti @GBy 16G SSD
Sound: PulseAudio with GM107 ( GeForce 940Mx ) and iMic USB duples audio ( selection doesn't affect the segfault )
Interesting, will check for this on Sentry. Do you have FGcom emnabled by any chance? And, I guess it goes away if you disable ATC speech? (Assuming the crash is in FGVoiceMgr)?
precis: Disable All sound options after whacking ~/.fgfs: Still segfaults at exit.
Started fgfs, 'X' ed were Master, Effects, Avioinics , Eternal Avionics , ATC, External ATC ( I am clueless as to the menaing of 'External' )
Exit, segfaults.
Restart, remove 'X' from ATC, Apply, exit, segfault
Restart, Remove 'X" on ATC External """ , segfault
Restart, remove All 'X' checkmarks, Apply, Exit, Segfault
Wiped all but Export in ~/.fgfs, Restart Sound menu shows all 'X' marks. Removed Voice Systhesis,
Apply, Close, Exit: Segfault
Wiped all but Export in ~/.fgfs, Restart Sound menu shows all 'X' marks. Removed All 'X' checks, ( No Sound option Selected, ) Apply, Close, Exit: Segfault
I've seen this 'voice' segfault several times before ( after Fedora update ?? ) but can only add that I've never been able to run Audacity on this machine, a Ryzen / all SSD storage configuration. I've never been able to find a confirming bug report for Audacity , either.
Edit PS fgcom is not enabled in -fgfsrc, I don't use the GUI, telnet, httpd, mp01 and Nasal sockets are enabled in .fgfsrc, no generic protocols.
Edit PS PS Urgggh. Commented :
--prop:/sim/rendering/multithreading-mode=CullDrawThreadPerContext
and fgfs exits without segfault. I can surely attest that i haven't touched this setting in ayeges, honestly.
