Quite a few aircraft, including the default C172p, have no GPS installed.
Is it realistic to fly without a GPS these days? I reckon anybody who can afford an
airplane can affort a GPS.
Suggestion: In the default C172p, relocate the DME and the ADF tuner. Put them
way over on the starboard side, where they normally are in the Real World. This
makes room in the center stack for a transponder and GPS.
As of 2008, you can get by without ADF in the US but not necessarily elsewhere.
