Some buildings seem to disappear as the camera gets close. Shadows remain visible.
Does not happen on 2020.3.5 non-compositor (19 Dec version from http://download.flightgear.org/builds/2020.3/)

It seems to be fixed for me.

I was able to reproduce on Hawaii custom scenery at PHTO (Terrasync has deleted the old OSM2City buildings at EGLL, and currently there no buildings at EGLL on Terrasync due to sync errors with OSM2City ).

This old AC file only scenery is rendered by model-ALS-ultra frag/vert. The instanced building vertex shader is not used here.

Still happening here. It doesn't seem to happen everywhere, I notice with just a single object.
There's a multirole ship on the northwest of the island at SBFN that becomes invisible as we approach it.
Ships ansd buildings are totally different code paths for loading, so likely a related bug, but not the same cause.
If it keeps happening, it seems to be unrelated to the Compositor. Could not reproduce in 2024, so closing for now.
