There is no way to make parkpos offset aircraft like runway does with sim/airport/runways/start-offset-m, as a result aircraft that have model origin at the nose spawn too far back and those that have model origin in the back spawn too far to the front, for example Tu-144 spawns like this:

We've actually been discussing this in the context of AI models where they do a hack for it. For real aircraft I would indeed prefer we encode the nose-wheel to modle origin as an offset somewhere. However, I am thnking we should ask about this on the devel list, since I suspect there migth be other partial solutions in this area already.

Eg, the pushback system must know whre the nose-wheel is, already? But maybe it's internal to the aircraft model.

I think gear[0] location could be a start -- but that would only work for three-wheelers that don't have a too-long nose -- so there should be a separate setting, imho.

Yes, it would be good to ask on the ML because I heard there was a solution floating around on the forum or on the ML.

sim/dimensions/parkpos-offset-m is already documented in various places on the wiki, and I believe wouldn't be very difficult to implement. Why not just actually make that work?

I guess the question is, if it's documented already, does htat mean the code already exists, but got broken? Or was it documented in the hope someone would implemenet it? :)

Far as I know it's been suggested but never implemented. https://forum.flightgear.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13527&p=136863#p137262
