1. Load any aircraft in any airport that has runway lights (e.g. LKPR)
2. Enable point sprites
3. Most runway and taxi lights disappear

*What is the expected output? What do you see instead?*
Expected to see runway and taxi lights, what I see is that most of them disappear. See screenshot for comparison between enabling and disabling point sprites.

*Any output in the console (black window)?*

*What FlightGear version are you using (when using GIT version, please
mention date)?*
FG 3.4

*What operating system and graphics card?*
Linux Mint 17.1, ATI Radeon HD 7730M

Probably related to  Issue 232 ("runway lights not rendered on ATI graphics"), which has been marked as fixed a couple of years ago

    The same problem here with FlightGear version 3.5. Operating system Linux Mint 17.1. Graphic card AMD Radeon R9 270X.
