What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When within range of LOC (dot shows on below horzion) engage LOC on dash, plane lines up perfectly with runway
2. When within range of G/S, engage APP on dash, G/S locks in and begins descent fine
3. When within 5-7nm of ruway, plane begins to sway from side to side, increasing as it gets closer to runway
4. sway becomes so massie that landing not possible
5. This happens on all airports I tried, even KSFO 28R which is CATIII ILS

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Not sure why this is happening. Given the LOC lines up perfectly up until 5-7nm out, can only presume LOC works to certain extent. G/S is fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0 on Mac. Using 777 that came with the 2.0 package

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm using the current 777 from GIT (actually also worked on it a bit). I've also been using FlightGear from recent GIT. I did not see this issue though (with FG sources from April-August).

However, there is a new issue. The new FlightGear autopilot system (in GIT since August 2010) is not compatible with the existing 777 AP (localizer and nav no longer work at all). So, the 777 now requires an AP update (new AP system or adaptation) to match the new FlightGear (for future 2.x/3.0 release).

=> Work is to be done anyway - but maybe this won't help for FG 2.0 (or earlier) releases.
