What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the Buccaneer
2. Look at a wingman

Vivian also sees:
Nasal runtime error: foreach enumeration of non-vector
  at D:/Git_New/fgdata/Nasal/view.nas, line 632

Which is probably due to fdm-initialized being used as state (set to false) by the new fdm_shell code.

Partially fixed, and introduces a new bug:

Stepping (or jitter) has been removed for wingmen and drop tanks, and has not AFAIKS been intoduced elsewhere.

Wingmen now load/unload reliably - not reported as part of this bug, but it
seems as if it might have been.

    Nasal error persists.

New bug - FG only runs for a few minutes then stops updating - no crash or error reported.

Futher bug found related to the above. Submodels no longer instantiate when the trigger property is set to true. It is confirmed that this works correctly for builds before 15 Jul 2010
