Ok, so first off, DEV team is not a vote, nor is it a requirement for people
to write code for the project. If you want to write code, download the CVS,
write and submit patches to List. Dev people will get these patches, look it
over and apply as necessary. I don't believe that people will just be added
to the dev team without first being checked out. 

On a lighter note, I've reformatted my computer and am downloading new slack
tonight. I'll install and prepare to start dev shortly. I may even look to
see about getting a small 486 or something online for DEV work..
