1. there is a feature to request for helper to the project. you can use it. 2. they have a donating feature. dont use it! they take about 5% or $1 at min. just put up your own paypal donate thing on your site. 3. if you devs need money put up ads on your site as long as thisnt agensted your sf.net TOS it will be good for the project. -- From the desk of shimon. |

1 is a good suggestion, but the other two aren't really useful. We're not into this for the money and I highly doubt it will stimulate us to work. If someone paid me a healthy amount of money, I would no doubt spend all my free time on FlexCP. The reality is that small and begining projects like FlexCP hardly get any worthwhile donations. You shouldn't be in OSS development for the money. P.S.: Don't get me wrong, I'm not waiting for someone to double the balance of my bank account. I'll try to work more on flexcp in the future, even without money. You're missing the point, I can make $10/hour working on other projects. The only reason I'm working on webcp is because I want to. You shouldn't be in OSS development for the money, I hope you'll quickly come to realize that. BTW, happy birthday. --- Shimon <sh...@gm...> wrote: > i got lot of people that said if this is really real and a livly > project they will be giving money to the team and i think it will not > hert to be there the palpay donate sign a i can give about $10/m (more > well i get a job) to the project i know that is nothing but i am only > 14 (today WOOT) and i am sure lot of hosts that give free hosting are > willing to donate if this become really something big as it will save > them $1500USD every 2 yaers for cPanel.... > > > On Wed, 29 Sep 2004 05:29:36 -0700 (PDT), Dennis Bollyn <gy...@ya...> wrote: > > 1 is a good suggestion, but the other two aren't really useful.
