If you set $verbose='false' (or use -d verbose=false on the command line),
it will turn off some of the output from the archive backend.

Try that first and see if that's what you are looking for.

I don't have a mechanism to turn what remains after that... might be an
idea for the future.

(Of course "flexbackup [args] > /dev/null" works :). You'll have the log
file to see what happened... but that's not the answer you wanted I'm sure)
