[flexbackup-help] >2G for file system backups

Hi there,

New to the list so I am sorry if this has been asked and answered.

I have a backup server that runs RH 6.2 and can not be updated due to
hardware support issues on the scsi card. I am making tar.gz files and
have to backup 8.5 gig of data each night which turns out to be 3.5 gigs
compressed. This is off a remote server.

I was wondering if there is any way to split large backup files into
smaller files on the fly with flexbackup. I currently use split to do
the job with tar and gzip.

Any suggestions?
