[Flex-devel] Is GNU m4 really needed?

Hello,
I grepped through the source for flex, and the only place it used GNUish m4 syntax (--prefix-builtins) was in configure.in / configure
NetBSD m4 has -P which does the same thing, so I switched the test to P and it compiled fine.
But it may not necessary to check this at all.
