    Hi Micke and all,

Winter is approaching and i'm returning to my FlashForth activities. All new PC here and am trying to build ff36 on MPLAB v8.56 but it is sniveling thusly:

Release build of project `C:\Users\jce\Documents\ff36\flashforth.mcp' started.
    Language tool versions: MPASMWIN.exe v5.37, mplib.exe v4.37
    Fri Sep 17 16:11:21 2010

Clean: Deleting intermediary and output files.
    Clean: Deleted file "C:\Users\jce\Documents\ff36\ff18_36.o".
    Clean: Done.
    Executing: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microchip\MPASM Suite\MPASMWIN.exe" /q /p18F2520 "ff18_36.asm" /l"ff18_36.lst" /e"ff18_36.err"
A language-plugin exception occurred and was logged.

Release build of project `C:\Users\jce\Documents\ff36\flashforth.mcp' failed.
    Language tool versions: MPASMWIN.exe v5.37, mplib.exe v4.37

    Fixed!

found a suggestion where if all else fails: remove all mplab files (.mcp .COD, etc)  from project directory and load the project into mplab using the 'new project wizard'.

    works fine.

    Hey Joe.
I thought it was some problem with the IDE and not with FF.

I will hopefully soon release FF for some USB pics and FF for the 24F16KA102.

Lets see how soon is soon :-)

Yep, I figured it was too.  Glad it was a simple fix.  Planning on taking all the assembly language out of the Bot and implementing it all FF. Should be fun..

Before I started on this current track, I also looked at the 2550 vis-à-vis USB and decided I needed to bite off a smaller chunk. Age is beginning demonstrate it's effect on focus. Hopefully I'll be more active following FF in the future. I've investigated every release of FF since FF1-3 (except FF3-5). Looking forward to more..

    Hi Joe,

I am helping Mikael test  the USB FF by using  the PICDEM™ FS-USB (DM163025) Demo Board which uses a PIC18F4550.
The USB  is working very well so far with this FF 3.6 based FlashForth.
When he releases it , it should work well for you.
