I don't think that would be trivial to implement because such
exception could be thrown anywhere in the code (wherever there is some
reading from the database). To do it reliably we would:
- have to route all db calls through a single point of code
- have to add "reconnect" to observer pattern to make sure each
observer behaves correctly. For example, Sql editor should reset
transaction (rollback and catch IBPP exception it gets and then create
a new one) and maybe run the statement again (if it is SELECT).
However, you can always reconnect manually (Database -> Reconnect) and
use the "back" button in SQL editor to get the last executed query.
This would leave all property pages on the screen and db tree intact.
