    Hi,
is it possible to remove the resolution limit (4096x4096, i think)?
Do tou plan to remove it?

(I'm not a coder, I don't know if it is difficult, or impossible...)

    bye.

That restriction was removed a few versions ago.  Check the release notes ;-)

Anyhow, the limit is now based on how much memory your graphics card has, which, ironically, works out to about the same limit for a card with 512 MB.

I cant seem to get it to render any images with a resolution higher then 3840x2400, I have a 285gtx with 1GB of ram and I do not get any errors.  It just sits there with no GPU usage but 100% cpu usage making no progress.

That's odd - your card should be able to handle images up to around 4000x4000, so I don't see what's going on here.  What quality are you rendering at?

I just did a test at 4000x4000 with a quality of 10 and same thing, no GPU usage but 100% cpu

Yeah… I have no idea why this is happening…

I do know that the latest 196.xx drivers have some problems with failing to allocate memory, so you could try rolling back to 195.xx or waiting for the next driver release.
