Introduction:

FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) is a Codec for Lossless Compression of digital audio. Digital audio compressed by FLAC's algorithm can typically be reduced to 50–60% of its original size and decompressed to an identical copy of the original audio data.

FLAC is an open format with royalty-free licensing and a reference implementation which is free software.

This is a project devoted to the design of a complex digital system implemented on the FPGA board.

Requirements:

This project requires written reports (proposal, progress, and final) in latex format located on /docs folder.

The final report must include a detailed description of the design, the Verilog source code, experimental results, and information on how to Simulate / Verify the solution.
