Other lossless audio encoder (Monkeyaudio) have a
future that computes a volume normalisation parameter
when encoding witch is added to the encoded file. User
have the choice for using this parameter for
normalised volume playback during decoding. This
allows to have an original compressed audio file and
playback at normalised volume. Could someone add this
future to Flac. This is very useful future for people
who listen frequently music with a computer.

My leaning on this is to use replaygain tags in the new
vorbis comment metadata block (new to flac 1.0.3).
replaygain is still slightly in flux though.

ReplayGain has now been implemented in CVS and will be in the 1.0.5 release.
