Everybody loves crossfading. It is a popular request. It is
also true that crossfading automatically necessitates playlists
and playlist management. flac123 does not currently support
playlists, and it will take some work to implement. I will defer
crossfading for the short term and revisit it when the next
major overhaul of flac123 occurs. (Note: none of the other
*123 applications support crossfading; crossfading is usually
implemented by higher-level GUI apps like XMMS, etc.)
