i have a fat jar that work fine on win-xp. when i try to use it on linux i get this: execption in thread main java.lang.noclassdeffounderror. any suggection on what the cause could be?

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
the most important feature of fatjar is to collect all classpath information which is stored in the eclipse project. As such it will not work outside of eclipse.
There are thougths to support ANT in a future release.
What should the comand-line version do? Where should it get the classpath from?
