Software to keep a log of gym weight training, analyze progress, and create optimal workouts based on previous workouts.
I am pleased to announce a new 0.2.0 release of the program. There are a number of bugfixes and new features. Please read the ChangeLog attached to the download for details.
Fitness version 0.1.0 was released today for Windows. This marks the first somewhat usable version. In the very beginning of the project at SourceForge, a 0.0.1 release was made but it was very hard to use, requiring editing of undocumented text files. This release includes a lot of improvement in the user interface area, and it should now be usable by the general gym going community. Development continues and the intent is to keep improving this release in terms of bugs fixed so that a usable release is available.
Now Fitness has been released as a Windows installer for maximum ease of use and largest possible audience.
The project release 0.0.1 is now downloadable as a tar.gz archive. It can be built using Qt 4.4.0 open source and GNU toolchain. Eclipse CDT, Qt Eclipse integration, Subclipse and GCC is the set of tools used to develop this project. It is also possible to compile on Windows using a similar toolset.
The code for Fitness has now been made available through Subversion. It has been developed using Qt 4.4.0 though it might compile with other versions.
